On this site you'll find simple, functional handcrafted wooden furniture, baskets and other items made by Amish craftspeople without the use of electricity. These household Amish items are one-of-a-kind, made to order in Amish barns and workshops in Wisconsin and Kentucky. They are handcrafted to order, not mass-produced. They are perfect for home accents and as gifts for others.

Once your order is placed, the order is sent via U.S. Mail directly to the craftsperson responsible for that item. We have a nice selection of items made of wood and cloth, and nearly 100 kinds of baskets. It is our goal to offer additional items as we able to locate craftspeople to produce them. We are currently seeking craftspersons who produce quilts. Please be encouraged to refer such persons to us if they have an interest in selling their handcrafted items to a larger audience.

We use the word craftspeople rather than craftsmen because women produce many of the items you'll find here. In some Amish homes, children also assist their parents with production.

The inspiration for this site came after attending a local Amish auction in Wisconsin for the benefit of the local Amish primary school. Realizing that only local people knew about or could attend the auction, we were inspired to offer quality, handcrafted items made in America by local Amish craftspersons to a larger audience.
